The St. Marys Police Department has a prescription take back program in place. Any unused/old prescription tablets will be stored in a locked safe until they can be turned over to the DEA for disposal. People can bring in their old and unused prescriptions to City Hall and an officer will secure them in the safe. 

As a part of our services in the community the police department offers to do property checks on your business or home if you are going out of town. Contact us at the listed numbers above and let us know the times and dates you would like us to check your property while you are out of town.
