Hide & Seek from the Police

EVENT OVERVIEW:
Hide N Seek from the Police community event hosted by the St. Marys Police Dept. and the Pleasants County Sheriff's Office. Open to all ages, participants 13 years old and younger must be supervised by someone 16 years old or older. Participants under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian sign their waiver before participating. This event will serve as a fundraiser for the SMPD Community Fund.

REGISTRATION:
Cost is $10 per person. Registration opens October 1st at City Hall. Payment can be made by cash, check, and PayPal. Checks need to be made to SMPD Community Fund. PayPal is SMPDCommunityFund (It will show Amanda Renkovish). Participation is limited to the first 150 entries.

EVENT DAY:
Saturday, October 24th - participants meet at Dave Wilson Field at Pleasants County Park at 7:00pm. Participants will receive a numbered wrist band and small flash light when they check in and fill out participation waiver. Participants will be released at 8:00pm and given a 15 minute head start before the police begin searching. The hiding portion of the event will last 2 hours. If you have not been found by 10pm, participants are to come back to the Dave Wilson Field to be checked out.

RULES FOR PARTICIPANTS:
Boundaries will be set for this event and provided at the registration. No entering private yards. No entering buildings. Participants must remain outside only. If an officer finds you with his flashlight beam and calls you out you can not run.
NO WEAPONS! THIS IS FOR FUN!!!
